Financial Inclusion in Focus: From Vision to Reality
The National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions invites you to join us at our Annual Conference, Financial Inclusion in Focus: From Vision to Reality, from May 14-16, 2014 in Detroit, Michigan. The Federation and its members will be celebrating 40 years of helping people and communities achieve financial independence through credit unions.
We are excited to announce one of our keynote speakers, Michael S. Barr, a key architect of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and former US Department of the Treasury’s Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions. Michael is currently a Professor of Law and Public Policy at the University of Michigan and a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress and the Brookings Institution. Additional information on other speakers and sessions will be coming soon!
Please save the date on your calendar for next May. The Federation’s Conference brings together leading researchers, policymakers and practitioners in the financial empowerment field and is the industry’s largest gathering of credit unions that share a mission of community development and financial inclusion. The 40th Anniversary Conference will celebrate our successes while looking forward to the opportunities ahead.
