The CDFI Data Project (CDP) is a major research effort collecting and analyzing information on the financial performance, institutional characteristics, and community development outputs of the CDFI Industry.
The CDP aggregates data from each of the major CDFI sectors, including CDCUs, Community Development Banks, Loan Funds, and Venture Capital Funds. The data is collected via surveys administered by the Federation and four other CDFI trade associations to their constituents. Annual joint CDP publications and separate Federation studies then present findings for the CDFI industry as a whole and the CDCU sector respectively.
