Plan now to join us this summer in Baltimore, Maryland for our 2013 Annual Conference. As the financial services industry and more Americans seek alternatives to high-cost and increasingly complex banking instruments, credit unions are increasingly serving more diverse populations and markets. The Federation is devoted to bringing the information, tools, and partnerships to help credit unions of all shapes and sizes to best serve previously underserved markets.
The 2013 Federation Annual Conference will bring together leading thinkers, researchers, policymakers and practitioners in community development and financial empowerment with credit unions adapting new strategies and approaches to better serve their members and communities. Sessions and workshops will focus on insightful tracks in the areas of research, technology, ideas for innovative products and services, resource development, compliance and sustainability, and much more!
Visit Baltimore for Fun. Stay for the Memories. Baltimore-it's not so much a place as an experience. And after close to three hundred years of history, this city can deliver more fun-filled family days (and romantic evenings) to make any visit one you’ll remember forever.

2013 Annual Vamper "Helping Hands" Awards
In 1990, the CDCU movement lost one of its heroes with the passing of the Federation's Associate Director, Annie Wilma Vamper, whose life-long dedication to the credit union movement, and to small credit unions in particular, served as inspiration to many low- and moderate-income people and communities. Until her death, Vamper gave every ounce of her strength, commitment, and love to the CDCU movement, and in 1993, the "Helping Hands" Award was created to honor her memory, along with the dedication of the Federation's training center at our New York City headquarters.
The highest honor presented by the Federation, the Annie Vamper "Helping Hands" Awards celebrate individuals whose unselfish work for the movement carry-on Annie's legacy, and whose contribution to their credit union has gone above and beyond the call of duty and exemplify the CDCU values.
We are pleased to announce that the 2013 recipients of the Annie Vamper “Helping Hands” Award are:
