Eunice J. Rogers, CEO of NRS Community Development FCU (Birmingham, AL) was recently re-elected as a Regional Director for Region 2, and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Federation's Board of Directors.

(June 23, 2008 - New York, NY)  The National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions (Federation) recently completed its 2008 Board of Directors elections at its Annual Membership Business Meeting, held in Dallas, Texas on June 14, 2008.

Director positions with three-year terms were available in each of the Federation’s four regions and in the At-large Director category.  An additional 1-year term position was available in Region 4 (West), filling a previous vacancy.

Eunice J. Rogers CEO of NRS Community Development FCU (Birmingham, AL) was re-elected as a Regional Director for Region 2 (South) and will continue to serve as Board Chairman of the Federation.  She is joined on the Executive Committee by Vice-Chairman Randy Chambers, CFO of Self-Help CU (Durham, NC); Treasurer Helen Godfrey Smith, CEO of Shreveport FCU (Shreveport, LA), re-elected in the At-large Director category; Corresponding Secretary Lynda Milton, CEO of Houston Teamsters FCU (Houston, TX), re-elected as a Regional Director for Region 3 (Mid-west); and new Recording Secretary, Deyanira Del Rio, Chairman of the Lower East Side Peoples’ FCU (New York, NY), a sitting Regional Director for Region 1 (Northeast).

Newly elected board members included Shirley Spruill, CEO of Renaissance Community Development CU (Somerset, NJ), elected as a Regional Director for Region 1 (Northeast), and Ginger McNally, CEO of Santa Cruz Community CU (Santa Cruz, CA), elected as a Regional Director for Region 4.

Marvin Jensen, Board Member of Episcopal Community FCU (Los Angeles, CA) was re-elected as a Regional Director to complete the remaining term of a vacancy in Region 4.
